Welcome to DVID. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using DVID's services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Service description

DVID provides cybersecurity training and protection services, including:

  • Hardware-based cybersecurity training kits
  • Online IoT/OT cybersecurity training modules
  • Access to dashboards, analytics, and learning progress
  • Optional paid subscription services
  • Support and documentation resources

The service is provided "as is" in accordance with applicable EU consumer protection laws.

3. User obligations

Users agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of their account credentials
  • Use the service in compliance with all applicable laws
  • Not attempt to circumvent, reverse engineer, or abuse our systems
  • Not use automated scrapers or similar tools
  • Not share accounts with third parties
  • Use hardware responsibly and safely

4. Payment terms

  • All fees are non-refundable unless required by EU law
  • Prices include VAT when applicable
  • Subscription pricing may change with at least 30 days' notice
  • Payment processing is handled by third-party providers
  • Access may be suspended in case of failed payments

5. Intellectual property

All content, features, and functionality of the service including text, graphics, logos, firmware, hardware designs, and training materials are the exclusive property of DVID. Users receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform. No rights are granted to reproduce, distribute, or resell any part of the service. Hosting infrastructure is provided by Cloudflare (CDN & security) and our backend hosting provider.

6. Limitation of liability

DVID is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user during the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or gross negligence.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service for any violation of these Terms or for security reasons. Users may terminate their account at any time. Termination does not entitle users to a refund unless required by law.

8. Right of withdrawal & trial period

In accordance with EU law:

  • Digital services delivered immediately require explicit waiver of the 14-day withdrawal right
  • The 14-day free trial waives the withdrawal right upon activation
  • Subscription payments are non-refundable
  • Physical products follow EU withdrawal rules unless unsealed or used

Unused paid days are prorated and added to the end of the subscription term.

9. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be brought before the competent courts of France.
